I'm distantly related to Samuel Frickleton. His mother was a sister of my great-grandmother, Marion Logan Twaddle who lived in Hamilton, Scotland. Her husband, William Twaddle, was a mine manager at Ferniegair.

My Grandfather was Henry (Harry) Frickleton, older brother to Samuel Frickleton. He worked in area coal mines until being seriously injured age 63. He died age 87 in Panama, Illinois, USA, and is buried in the same cemetery in Sorento, IL as his brother John L. Frickleton. My family and I have lived in my grandparents home for nearly 40 years. I had grown up in the house next door to them. Many fond memories will always be cherished.
