Thanks very much for this, Dell. I checked his service record (now linked from the 'Notes' field) and this confirms that he did give his mother's name as 'Caroline' when he attested. I've updated our record accordingly.

Harry went to the war under an assumed name. His name was Hans Peter Meyer. His mother's correct name was Caroline Meyer not Catherine.
