This is my grandfather Silas (Sandy) Lousley. We know very little about him and don't even have a photo!! He went to South Africia with the 4th Cont. and when they disbanded joined the 7th Cont. Came back to New Zealand and lived in Kurow/Oamaru. Married Elizabeth Harris 1905 and had two sons James (1907 my father) and Norris(1912) He died in 1926 of cancer of the tongue and is buried in the Oamaru Cemetery.
