A H.L. Bockett (right) on the occasion of his retirement as Secretary for Labour, 1964, with his successor, Harry Parsonage. The Labour Department was responsible for setting up and administering the assisted immigration scheme.

Registration of electricians pre 1920.
I am writing up the WW1 history of George Henry Stark, who was in Flanders WW1, and awarded the Military Medal for bravery whilst carrying out his trade as an electrician. I am trying to find out where the archives are in NZ concerning registration of electricians in the years 1914 - 1916 are held. Cannot currently locate ex Archway. Thanks
