Jane Phillips was born about 1835.
She married Levi Bradley, a painter, in 1864 in New Zealand. They had seven children, three who died in infancy.
The family lived in Beach St, Waikouaiti, where Levi died in 1892 and where Jane signed the suffrage petition.
Jane died at her home on February 14th 1901. She is buried in the family grave in the St John’s Anglican Cemetery, Waikouaiti.
Her obituary said she “was well known and greatly respected for her kindness of heart, and her death is greatly regretted.”
