Biographical information provided by Helen Edwards for the He Tohu exhibition:
Mary Dickson was the daughter of Agnes Dickson (nee Dalziel) and the sister of Margaret Dickson, both of whom signed this Sheet of the Petition. Mary was the elder of the two daughters, born in 1867. She attended Arthur Street School and continued to live in the family home at 26 Hart St as an adult. Mary died in 1949.
