Nga Tohu

In 1840 more than 500 chiefs signed the Treaty of Waitangi, New Zealand’s founding document. Ngā Tohu, when complete, will contain a biographical sketch of each signatory.

Ngaapuhi declared in their evidence WAI1040 claim that they were established in 1875, therefore Te Tao could not have been of ngaapuhi, in fact he was Ngaati Torehina ki Mata-ure O Hau. #tuuturu
