Nga Tohu

In 1840 more than 500 chiefs signed the Treaty of Waitangi, New Zealand’s founding document. Ngā Tohu, when complete, will contain a biographical sketch of each signatory.

Is there a possibility this could be Raniera Kawharu AKA Raniera Pari? He lived at Rangitoto and passed away in 1888, so likely could have been the person who signed.
