Christina Pow was born about 1851 in Stirlingshire, Scotland – the daughter of George Pow, a tailor, and Elizabeth Reid. (See 52 Elizabeth Pow)
She emigrated to Otago in 1858 on the Jura and they settled in Dunedin.
Christina did not marry and when she signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in George St working as a music teacher.
She died in Dunedin on 23 July 1920 and is buried in the family grave in the Northern Cemetery.
