Elizabeth Gilchrist Watson was born in 1870 in New Zealand – the daughter of Alexander Watson, a wheelwright, and Elizabeth Stalker. (See 117 Elizabeth Watson).
When Elizabeth signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in Mornington, Dunedin.
She married Alexander Donald Miller, an accountant, on 8 March 1898 in the Mornington Parish and they had one son who died at birth.
Donald died in 1938 and Elizabeth died at her home in Dunedin on 24 March 1942 – they are buried in the Miller family grave in the Northern Cemetery.
