Isabella Jane Scott was born in 1863 in New Zealand – the daughter of Mark Scott, a farmer, and Isabella Brown. (See 118 Isabella Scott)
She did not marry and when she signed the suffrage petition she was living with her parents at their home 'Hopefield' near Milton.
Isabella died at Balclutha on 9 August 1948 and is buried in the Milton – Fairfax Cemetery.
