Catherine/Kate France Lockhart was born in 1871 in New Zealand – the daughter of James Lockhart and Isabella Moir. (See 104 I Lockhart)
When Kate signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in Milton in the Tokomairiro district.
She did not marry and she died at her family home in Milton on 27 July 1920, she is buried in the Fairfax Cemetery, Milton.
