Louisa Jane Hatcher/Hatchell was born in 1841 in Bath, England – the daughter of George Hatcher, a carpenter, and Mary Rosser.
She had a son with Arthur Williamson in 1863 in Victoria, Australia – no marriage can be found as yet.
Louisa came to New Zealand where she married John Sutcliffe in 1868.
They lived in Greymouth where Louisa signed the suffrage petition, her daughter-in-law Clara also signed. (See 534 C Williamson)
Louisa died on 21 November 1898 and John died in 1904 – they are buried in the Karoro Cemetery.
