Margaret/Maggie McBride was born in 1865 in New Zealand – the daughter of William Dues McBride, a tailor, and Bessie/Betsy Millar. (See 125 B McBride)
Margaret did not marry and when she signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in the Nevada subdivision of Roslyn working as a tailoress.
She died at Company Bay Home on 23 April 1951 and is buried in the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
