Mary Graham was born about 1867 in New Zealand – the fourth daughter of Robert Graham and Janet Young. (See 117 Janet Young Graham)
When Mary signed the suffrage petition she was living with her widowed mother and siblings in McCrae St, Mornington, Dunedin.
She married William George Sanders, a storekeeper, on 11 April 1906 at St Andrew’s Church, Palmerston North and they had one daughter.
Mary died in Whanganui in December 1937 and William died in 1953, they are both buried in the Aramoho Cemetery, Whanganui.
