Mary Drysdale Warren was born in 1872 in Dunedin – the daughter of Charles Warren, a labourer, and Mary Drysdale Leishman. (See 85 Mary Warren)

When Mary signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in Harbour Terrace working as a dressmaker.

Mary died not marry – she died on 30 May 1958 in Dunedin and she is buried in the family grave in the Northern Cemetery.
