Jessie Miller was born in 1874 in New Zealand – the daughter of David Miller, a grocer, & Ellen McPherson.
Her mother died in 1877 & her father remarried the following year.
When Jessie signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in William St, North East Valley, Dunedin.
She is possibly the Jessie Miller who married Frederick Charles Evans in 1900 & died in 1927 in Dunedin.
