Mary Kelly was born in 1871 in New Zealand – the daughter of William Kelly, a shipwright, and Elizabeth Williamson. (See 59 Mrs L Kelly)
When she signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in Grange St, Dunedin.
Mary married Peter Doull, a custom house officer, at her home in June 1895 and they had three children.
They later moved to Whanganui where Mary died on 12 August 1923, aged 49.
Peter died in 1944, they are both buried in the Aramoho Cemetery.
