I see a comment I made in March 2019 has been ignored. This is a New Zealand HISTORY site and should be more insistent on presenting the correct information.
This is NOT the pa at Otuihu - it the pa that Pomare built at Karetu after the Otuihu pa was destroyed by British troops in 1845. The caption says "Pomare's NEW pah at the Karetu".
