I think this is Elizabeth McFarlane, daughter of Elizabeth Kerr (See 67 Elizabeth Kerr) and she has taken her step father’s name.
Elizabeth McFarlane was born in 1872 in New Zealand – the daughter of Archibald McFarlane and Elizabeth Keir.
Her father died in 1875 her mother remarried in 1879 to Duncan Kerr.
When Elizabeth signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family in Argyle St, South Dunedin working as a boot machinist.
Elizabeth did not marry and she died on 15 September 1947 – she is buried with her brother and sister Margaret (See 67 Margaret McFarlane) in the Northern Cemetery.
