Manufacturing NZ Bren Gun carriers

We can do it! (1942) shows a factory (probably the General Motors plant at Lower Hutt) where Universal (Bren) gun carriers were made during the Second World War.

This 1942 newsreel talks about how many are being made for New Zealand defences and how it is making New Zealand ready for any potential enemy invasion.

Definitely the General Motors factory (you can see the letters G M on the gates) in Bouverie Street, Petone (not the Western Hutt Road. The multistory building in the background is definitely WD & HO Wills in Richmond Street Petone. I once worked there, being as I am an ex-Petone-ite.

If I'm not mistaken, the multistory building in the background is the WD & HO Wills factory in Petone - Richmond Street (Imperial Tobacco Co) making it pretty certain that this will be a "parking lot" associated with the General Motors factory which was in Western Hutt Road.
