Camels loaded on a train for transport on the Sinai railway to the Imperial Camel Corps Brigade in Palestine, 1917. The letters 'HK' can be clearly seen on one of the camels nearest the camera. This may mean that the camels in this wagon are being sent to the Hong Kong and Singapore Mountain Battery - the camel-mounted artillery unit attached to the Imperial Camel Corps Brigade.
